Color blindness, a condition that happens to at least one out of 15 people, is mostly inherited although there are also other causes like eye injury. In this condition, he cannot tell the difference between green, yellow, red and orange. For him, these colors appear the same. Under this condition, it can be dangerous for the patients to drive under foggy weather, rainy or dazzling sunlight. It is because the person can make mistake in differentiating the traffic signals or differentiating the green traffic light from other street lights on the streets.

Under this condition, the individual is unable to see the difference between green, yellow, orange and red. For him, all these colors seem to have no difference. All these colors are alike according to his vision. When driving, this condition can be a bit dangerous because he is unable to tell the difference between the signs of traffic light. This is the last color blindness type which happens to 1 out of 100 males. As other types, it affects the daily lives. Under this condition, the individual experiences hue discrimination as of the protanope only it doesn’t have abnormal dimming issue. He cannot tell the difference between the green, orange, red and yellow colors.
